Bob Richardson has been instrumental in helping to drive the success of Australia’s property and construction industry with more than 50 years of sector leadership experience.

Bob is a recognised leader in property, construction, cost management, and advisory services. As a Director at MBM, he brings strong global experience in cost and asset guidance for large-scale developments in Australia and beyond.

Throughout his career, Bob has led cost management on major projects at the highest levels. He brings a long history of representing Government and institutional investors with cost advice in the early stages of investment and development opportunities. Notably, Bob led cost guidance on the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and his expertise has been called upon for Olympic Games bids or delivery from Sydney 2000 up to Rio 2016, the first European Games in Baku Azerbaijan, in 2015, and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Bob graduated in Quantity Surveying from the University of South London and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FAIQS). In recognition of his career and services to the industry, he was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2019.
